Lee Chong Wei dissapoints again

Fantastic performance by Super Dan!

Lee Chong Wei lost to Lin Dan 13-21 21-15 10-21 in 72 minutes:
It was another disappointing day for the world number one Lee Chong Wei as he lost to China's olympic champion Lin Dan once again in the final of the 2010 asian games. Lin Dan played brilliantly in the first set and closed it up 21-13 with ease, Lee came back strongly to win the second set 21-15. Lin up his pace in the rubber set and the malaysian ran out of steam and lost the tie to China. We are all disappointed of the result but Chong Wei's performance still earned lots of respect from us. Chong Wei's losing streak against Lin Dan on China soil continued and his hopes of becoming the first malaysian men's singles winner in 40 years at the asian game went up in smoke. Punch Gunalan was the last men's singles player to win gold at the asian games.

Lee Chong Wei played well but it simply just wasn't good enough to defeat the reigning olympic champion. Chen Jin and Park Sung Hwan from China and Korea respectively bagged the bronze medal.
